From the North
- M56 West bound - exiting at junction 15 for M53
- Bypassing chester - M53 merges into A55
- Exit A55 for A483 - south west following signs for Wrexham & Llangollen.
- 5 miles after Wrexham - stay in left lane for Ruabon & Llangollen. On approach to Llangollen follow the signs for Holyhead, turning left over the bridge then right at the taffic lights onto the A5.
From the South
- M1, M40 or M5 north to M6.
- Turn off at junction 10A for M54 - bypassing Telford
- After Telford M54 merges onto the A5 bypassing Shrewsbury - Oswestry - Chirk.
- Continue West on A5 following signs for Llangollen.
