Plant Capabilities
Dobson and Crowther have a large range of specialised machinery and a highly skilled workforce to operate it, enabling us to offer a wide variety of different products.
We have 2 in-line presses, one specialising in producing up to 5 colour litho printed C5 wallets, and one specialising in games pieces, charity pockets and mailer bags for the photographic and mobile phone recycling industries.
We also have 2 large format 5 colour litho presses on which we print sheets to be punched out and passed through to one of our 12 converting machines in our finishing section. These specialised envelope and pocket converting machines can produce envelopes and pockets with dimensions varying from 40mm to 420mm.
Dobson and Crowther also have the capability to overprint sequential numbering and bar coding on many of our products, which is especially relevant for job bags for the photographic market.
